This herpetocenosis comprise elements typical for both regions with possible occurrence of endemic species. The Semuliki National Park has been visited in August 1996. During this visit, reptiles and amphibians were recorded, using standard herpetological field methods. During the field trip, 17 species of amphibians and 10 species of reptiles have been recorded.
